IEEE King Abdulaziz University Student Branch is organizing an online workshop titled “HFSS for Beginners: Basic Antenna Design and Analysis,” presented by Prof. Hatem Rmili, IEEE Senior Member, PSDSARC, Riyadh, KSA.
The workshop is organized as part of IEEE Antenna & Microwave Tech Day 2026 under the global theme “Wireless for Humanity.” This event aims to introduce students to the basics of HFSS and antenna design and analysis, while highlighting the importance of antenna, microwave, and propagation technologies in wireless communication, connectivity, sensing, sustainability, and humanitarian applications.
The session will be held online through Microsoft Teams on 13 May at 9:00 PM, and is intended for students of Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Prof. Hatem Rmili is an IEEE Senior Member from PSDSARC, Riyadh, KSA. He will present the online workshop “HFSS for Beginners: Basic Antenna Design and Analysis,” introducing participants to beginner-level concepts in HFSS, antenna design, antenna analysis, microwave engineering, and wireless communication.
