Vibe Planning - An Interactive Approach for Grid Analysis with Natural Language
Tech Talk: Argonne National Laboratory
This month's presenter from Argonne National Laboratory will introduce "Vibe Planning," a natural-language interface that uses an AI agent to convert a planner's requests into fully traceable, automated workflows built on proven grid simulation and optimization tools.
Biography:
Dr. Feng Qiu is a Principal Computational Scientist and Manager of the Advanced Grid Modeling Group at Argonne National Laboratory's Center for Energy, Environmental & Economic Systems Analysis (CEEESA). An IEEE Fellow, he serves as Argonne's Lab Relationship Manager for the DOE Advanced Grid Modeling Program. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech with a concentration in Optimization, and has been at Argonne since 2013. His research spans power system modeling and simulation, machine learning, grid resilience, and renewable energy integration. He also holds affiliated appointments at Northwestern University and Iowa State University.
