Event Title: Ideation & Business Model Workshop: Entrepreneurship Ambassador Program (J&K to Karnataka) Event Category: Professional / Technical Host Organizational Unit: IEEE Bearys Institute of Technology Student Branch Co-Organizer: NIELIT Srinagar Student Branch
Description: This virtual workshop is the second milestone in a structured eight-week entrepreneurship journey designed to connect engineering students across Jammu & Kashmir and Karnataka. Following the initial problem-identification phase, this session focuses on "thinking about what's worth building".
- Objective: To guide 50–80 participants through the Business Model Canvas (BMC) framework, helping them transform technical concepts into viable business models.
- Key Activities:
- Introductory talk on Ideation and the Business Model Canvas.
- Virtual breakout sessions for mentor-guided team discussions.
- Deliverable: Participating teams will submit a one-page business model draft at the conclusion of the session.
- Context: This initiative is supported by the IEEE Region 10 ACEI to bridge the gap between strong technical engineering skills and real-world entrepreneurship exposure
