From Invention to Impact: My Patent Journey, Lessons Learned, and Pathways to Innovation
Innovation is rarely a single breakthrough moment—it is a journey of curiosity, persistence, and learning. In this talk, I will share my path into the world of patents, the challenges of getting started, and lessons learned in generating ideas and understanding what makes an invention patentable.
Using examples from my own Wi-Fi patents, I will illustrate how real-world problems and unmet needs can evolve into patentable innovations. I will also briefly discuss the role of collaboration and feedback in refining ideas and expanding perspectives. Through these experiences, the session aims to demystify the innovation process and provide practical insights for those looking to translate ideas into meaningful impact.
