The Tumutumu Girls High School Mentorship Program is an outreach initiative aimed at empowering young women by exposing them to opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Through interactive career talks, mentorship discussions, and project demonstrations, IEEE volunteers will encourage students to pursue their academic and professional aspirations with confidence.
The program will provide students with insights into university life, career pathways, study techniques, leadership, innovation, and personal development. Form Four students will receive guidance on career selection, university applications, and transitioning to higher education, while students in other grades will explore the exciting world of STEM and develop effective study habits.
In addition to mentorship sessions, volunteers will showcase engineering and technology projects to demonstrate how classroom knowledge can be applied to solve real-world challenges. The event seeks to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and create lasting mentor–mentee relationships that support the growth of future women engineers, scientists, and technology leaders.
We look forward to making a meaningful impact through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and community engagement.
