Wednesday Morning Tour
The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Hamilton Section, in collaboration with the IEEE Hamilton Section, invites students, professionals, IEEE members of all grades, and the wider community to join an exclusive guided tour of the Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Brampton on the morning of Wednesday, September 2, 2026. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore one of Amazon's advanced robotics fulfilment centres and learn how engineering, robotics, automation, logistics, and supply chain technologies power modern e-commerce. During the guided tour, participants will follow the journey of a customer order through the fulfilment process while connecting with members of the local IEEE community.
Following the tour, participants are invited to join us at Second Cup Café, just a short drive from the Amazon fulfilment centre, for an optional post-tour networking session. Enjoy complimentary refreshments in a dedicated area reserved for our group while connecting with fellow participants.

Amazon Tour Guidelines
Tour Start: The tour begins at 9:00 AM. Once the tour has begun, guests will not be able to join the tour.
Photo-ID: Bring a valid government-issued photo ID matching your Amazon registration.
Children: Guests who are at least 6 years old and under 18 must be included by a parent or guardian during the Amazon registration. If applicable, please indicate this during your IEEE registration as well.
Dress Code (Required): Wear flat, closed-toe, closed-heel shoes (no sandals, Crocs, clogs, or high heels) and a shirt with sleeves (short/long). Long pants are recommended. Tie back long hair and avoid loose clothing or dangling jewelry.
Personal Items: Please leave bags and backpacks in your vehicle whenever possible. Wallets, keys, and a clear water bottle are permitted.
Visitor Badge: Visitor badges will be provided and must be worn throughout the tour.
Cell Phones : Cell phone usage of any form is not allowed.
Accessibility: Please indicate any accessibility requirements during your IEEE registration so we can coordinate with Amazon.
