STEM It Right! 4.0 (Let’s Chip into Semiconductor World)
STEM It Right! 4.0 (Let’s Chip into Semiconductor World) is organized to promote STEM education through the lens of semiconductor technology. This programme adopts the STEM It Right! standard module structure, which includes an interactive forum with STEM Professionals (Ask Me Anything!), a brainstorming group-based activity (Let's Think Like Engineers) and a hands-on session, a practical and fun activity to spark students' interest through experiential learning.
A total of five secondary schools from four districts in Selangor, Malaysia have been selected to participate in the program. Each school is required to nominate 10 to 15 student ambassadors. The target participants are secondary school students aged 14 to 15 years. Overall, the program is expected to involve approximately 50 to 75 students from the five participating schools. Throughout the program, students will gain exposure to semiconductor concepts, industry applications, and career opportunities. Students will get to participate in structured activities that enhance critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, while fostering cooperation, mutual support, and shared learning among participants.
