The talk will cover antenna and microwave device innovations for modern communication, terahertz device design and applications, graphene-based and tunable metasurfaces, printed/flexible electronics and advanced manufacturing, and autonomous wireless sensor systems with over-the-air platforms.

Biography:

Dr. Sambit Kumar Ghosh is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Alberta, Canada. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, and has conducted postdoctoral research at Michigan State University (USA) and the University of Alberta (Canada). His research focuses on electromagnetic theory, metasurfaces, reconfigurable RF/microwave devices, and autonomous sensing platforms for communication and terahertz applications. He has authored 20 peer-reviewed journal papers, over 40 conference papers, and 2 book chapters. His expertise includes graphene-based and tunable metasurfaces, THz device design, RF/microwave/mmWave circuits and antennas, printed and flexible electronics, and additive manufacturing. He received the Best Paper Award for Young Professionals at IEEE InCAP 2021.
