[Legacy Report] Executive Committee Meeting
The organizer welcomes all the members present at the meeting and briefly introduced about meeting agenda.
Approval of Minutes:
The minutes of previous meetings were read and were adopted unanimously.
Agenda Item #1: Proposal for technical sponsorship to ICCCS 2014, Gr. Noida.
A request from Dr. Shaliesh Tiwari, Conference Chair was received for technical sponsorship of the ICCCS conference to be held in ITS Engg. College, Gr. Noida during from 9th-11th October 2014.
Discussion- Different members suggested and finally all concluded on following
• 20-30% concession in registration fee for both, IEEE & CIS Members.
• Conference technical committee should have at least one representative from CIS chapter.
• A stall from CIS chapter can be opened during conference.
Action Item: It was asked to inform the organizers for the same.
It was approved with consent of all members.
Agenda Item #2: Report of IEEE CIS Website
It was suggested by Chairman to use IEEE vtools website for the CIS Chapter event announcement. Dr. US Tiwary also suggested to use the same for advertisement of CIS Chapter.

Agenda Item #3: Proposal for technical sponsorship to ICIIS 2014, IIITM Gwalior.
A request from K.V. Arya (General Chair, ICIIS2014) was received for technical sponsorship of the 9th IEEE ICIIS conference to be held in Dec. (15th–17th) at ABV-IIITM Gwalior.
Discussion- Different members suggested and finally all concluded on following
• 20-30% concession in registration fee for both, IEEE & CIS Members.
• Conference technical committee should have at least one representative from CIS chapter.
• A stall from CIS chapter can be opened during conference.
Action Item: Secretary was asked to inform the organizers for the same

Agenda Item #4: Proposal for technical sponsorship to Confluence 2014, Amity, Noida
A request from Dr. Abhay Bansal (Conference Coordinator, Confluence 2014) was received for technical sponsorship of the confluence to be held in Sep. (25th–26th) at Amity, Noida.
Discussion- Different members suggested and finally all concluded on following
• 20-30% concession in registration fee for both, IEEE & CIS Members.
• Conference technical committee should have at least one representative from CIS chapter.
• A stall from CIS chapter can be opened during conference.
Action Item: Secretary was asked to inform the organizers for the same
It was approved with consent of all members.
Agenda Item #5: Other items proposed by attendees
I. A proposal of conducting the Robotics Workshop in HBTI Kanpur by Head, Student activity branch Ms. Rekha Raja and Mr. Rahul Sevakula came.
Action Item: It was asked to apply for technical sponsorship.
It was approved with consent of all members.
II. Chairman suggested the name of Dr. US Tiwary for the post of “Vice Chairman†which was approved with the consent of all members. Now, the list of elected Office bearers is as follows:

2. Vice Chairman: Dr. Laxmidhar Behera, IIT KANPUR
3. Vice Chairman: Dr. US Tiwary, IIIT Allahabad
