The presentation showed aspects of the automatic observation of behavior and activity of people with the use of CCTV (closed circuit television) system and IVA (intelligent video analysis) algorithms. During the presentation the problems relating to the separation and counting of people, the analysis of the trajectory and the density of people, the detection of unusual behavior and face recognition from low-resolution images were discussed. The selection of algorithm parameters and algorithm efficiency were also presented. Finally, methods for the rapid prototyping of the algorithms on the DSP (digital signal processor) were discussed.
