IEEE & PES (Power and Energy Society) MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

Objective:

The objective of this programme is to get awareness about IEEE and PES (Power and Energy Society) for the students. To get awareness about the beneficiaries of the membership in IEEE and PES for an engineering student and encourage them to take membership in IEEE. This programme was meant for EEE students.

Programme Details:

Over 40 students from EEE Department had attended the programme at E-class room, N-block, CBIT at 3:00 pm on 09-01-2017 for awareness on IEEE membership and PES.

Praval Reddy, the Chairperson for PES, had given a power point presentation on IEEE and the beneficiaries of IEEE membership in addition with a brief explanation on Power and Energy Society.

A voice video clip on IEEE recorded by the members of IEEE was also shown in the programme.

Naveen Krishna, the Chairperson for CBIT Student Branch, shared his experiences in IEEE as a member and encouraged the students to take membership in IEEE to enhance their skills and improve their knowledge.

Akhil, member of IEEE CBIT Executive Body, shared his experiences in IEEE and the improvement that he observed by actively participating in the IEEE events. He motivated the students to take up IEEE membership and be a part of PES to enhance their career.
