[Legacy Report] IEEE Workshop On Computational Intelligence: Theories, Applications and Future Directions
A one day IEEE workshop was organized by IEEE CIS UP Section Chapter (CIS11). The purpose of this workshop was to provide a forum of sharing and discussion for students, budding researchers and faculty members in the area of Computational Intelligence. There are a number of complex and challenging real-world problems, where traditional approaches are not that effective. Computational Intelligence with its set of biological and linguistic tools gives much more freedom in efficiently addressing such problems. This workshop was conducted to bring the diverse community of researchers together to discuss the state of art, prospective future developments and innovative applications relevant to Neural Networks, Evolutionary Algorithms, Fuzzy Systems, Hybrid Intelligent Systems and related areas.
