Applied Superconductivity in Italy: Activities and Perspectives
Council on Superconductivity - Italy Chapter CSC41
The Meeting was held at the Department of Engineering, University Roma TRE, in order to present and discuss the recent work and results on applied superconductivity in Italy.
13 scientific presentations were given, spanning activities in Large Scale, Materials, and Electronics (the canonical categories of the Council on Superconductivity conferences and publications).
The Meeting saw participation from Industry, Research centers and Universities.
The Meeting was attended by the followng IEEE officers: Bruce P.Strauss, CSC President; Elie Track, CSC Past President and Treasurer; John X. Przybysz, Sr., CSC President-elect; Antonio della Corte, immediate CSC Past president; John Spargo, Past CSC President; Marina Ruggieri IEEE Technical Activities Vice President.
The CSC President, Bruce Strauss, presented the Senior Member plaque to the new CSC Senior Members.
The concise, informative and participated presentations gave an extensive overview of the Applied Superconductivity in Italy.
During the closing, the IEEE Technical Activities Vice President, Marina Ruggieri, congratulated with the attendance for the good work and positive attitude of the Chapter.
