IEEE CIS MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The IEEE CIS membership drive was held at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT), Kanpur, India on December 29th, 2018.
The program started with a welcome address by Mr. Narendra Kumar Dhar, Convener, CIS Membership Activities, IEEE UP Section CIS Chapter & Ph.D. Scholar, IIT Kanpur, India. He gave an introduction about IEEE and IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS). He also encouraged and motivated students for becoming the member of the IEEE CIS community by highlighting the membership benefits. Around 350 participants including faculties, UG and PG students have attended the lecture.
The lecture was followed by an interactive session with executive committee members of IEEE UP Section CIS Chapter where students asked their doubts and explored the possibilities of computational intelligence (CI) in their own work.
For membership drive, a booth was also set up at the venue to promote IEEE CIS membership and related activities.
