The IEEE Blockchain Initiative (BCI) was created to act as the hub for all IEEE blockchain projects and activities. The BCI encompasses a comprehensive set of projects and activities supported by the following core subcommittees: Pre/Standards, Education, Conferences and Events, Community Development and Outreach, Publications, and Special Projects. The San Diego IEEE Blockchain Group formed in January 2019 and is interested in learning what activities the community is interested in and will overview the different BCI Activities as well as the current planned events in San Diego.
