Pixel Snap '19 - Exhibition and Award Ceremony
The Women in Enginering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) organized Pixel Snap ’19 with the aim of providing recognition to potential photographers among the local undergraduates.
Pixel Snap ’19 is a photography competition mainly themed around Women Empowerment. The competition was open to all local undergraduates of the country under 3 categories; Women empowerment - mobile, Women empowerment - any and Open. The photographs of the finalists selected by an esteemed panel of judges were posted on Facebook for students to vote for the "Popular Choice". The top photographs chosen by th judges were diplayed at an exhibition held on 27th September 2019 at SLIIT Main Auditorium lobby area. The winners were awarded with certificates and prizes on the day of the exhibition.
The competition and exhibition were sponsored by Nikon phototechnica, Canon metropolitan, Magiclight graduation photography, Lakseya and Uptown Kandy.
