Third Professional Meet and Invited Talk on Modeling and optimization in Engineering using evolutionary computing tools-IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section

We are happy that IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section is organized Third Professional Meet at Vishnu College of Engineering (Women), Bhimavaram organization on 9th Nov 2019. Mr. K.V.Sriram, ED, Andhra Electronics, Chair IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section will address the meeting and followed by a talk by Dr. Sameer Chakarvathi, EC member, IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section. 

 

With these Meets, IEEE Vizag Bay section trying to connect with the members and organize various events like conference, workshops, training program, distinguished lecture program (DLPs)/volunteer meet, ...   in different geographical areas of the Vizag Bay Sub Section (Srikakulam to Vijayawada).

 Followed by An Invited Talk on “Modeling and optimization in Engineering using evolutionary computing tools” by  Dr. VVSS Chakravarthy, Raghu Institute of Technology, Visakhapatnam

The third IEEE Professional member meet was organized by IEEE Vizag bay sub-section at Shri Vishnu Engineering College for women in Bhimavaram on 9.11.2019. IEEE Vizag bay sub section Chair, Sri Sriram, Dr. VVSS Chakravarthy, EC member of Vizag Bay sub-section and
Dr. PSR Chowdary, professional member have interacted with professional members and students. There are about 30 professional members from various Engineering colleges under vizag bay sub-section have attended in this event. The chair and EC member have explained about the benefits of IEEE, activities which are carried out by Vizag bay sub section, enhancing the professional members and how to strengthen the student branches of respective institutions etc. Later, the professional members have interacted with the team about the issues and challenges they are facing in improving and strengthening the IEEE activities under vizag sub section, and enhancing the student and professional memberships at respective institutions. Some of the student members have also interacted with the team and taken suggestions in improving IEEE activities at the student branch level. Some faculty members have shown their interest in taking new IEEE memberships on this occasion. After the interactive session is over an invited talk was given on "Modeling and optimization in Engineering using evolutionary computing tools" by  Dr. VVSS Chakravarthy, to all students and professional members. Followed by invited talk the event was ended with the closing remarks given by Chair and EC members of Vizag bay sub-section.

Brief bio-data of the Speaker:  Prof Chakravarthy Vedula obtained his Ph.D. from JNTU, Kakinada, and M.Tech from VR Sidhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada.  He has authored 37 publications (journals and conferences).  He reviewed several articles for conference proceedings and journals. He is a member of IEEE, ACES, ISOI, IACQER and IAENG).
