IEEE CIS MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The IEEE CIS membership drive was organized during the IEEE Workshop on “Computational Intelligence: Theories, Applications and Future Directions” at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India from December 14th-17th, 2015.
The program started with a welcome address by Prof. Nishchal K. Verma, Chairman, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur, India. He gave an introduction about the IEEE and IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS). He encouraged and motivated participants for becoming a member of the IEEE CIS community by highlighting the membership benefits. An interactive session was also organized with executive committee members of the IEEE UP Section CIS Chapter where participants asked their doubts and explored the possibilities of computational intelligence (CI) in their own work.
For membership drive, a booth was also set up at the venue to promote IEEE CIS membership and related activities.
