International Conference on Recent Advancements in Computer Science, Communication and Information Technology
Computer technology has become increasingly important in today’s world and users have been facing
rapid development and changes in computer interfaces, communication and information technologies.
Keeping this in mind, PSIT College of Higher Education, Kanpur organized an International Conference on
the theme “Recent Advancements in Computer Science, Communication and Information Technology”
on 30 th Nov - 1 st Dec 2019. Hon’ble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind along with Smt.
Anandiben Patel , Governer, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Dinesh Sharma , Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh
and Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak, Vice Chancellor APJAKTU Lucknow inaugurated the conference.
The conference aimed at addressing the influence of current trends and recent developments in the
various mentioned fields. It helped to study the past trends as well the present trends to identify the
effective measures to streamline future strategies for enhancing concepts of Computer Science,
Communication and Information Technology. The conference also provided opportunities to the
researchers, academicians, industry persons and students to interact and exchange ideas through paper
presentations and panel discussions.
The conference witnessed delegates from various countries around the world like Germany, Singapore,
Oman, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, & Nepal. The panel discussions during the conference on “Creating a High
Performance Organization by Revisiting the Human Capital System” and “Convergence of Technology: A
Way Ahead” by esteemed panelist from top organizations like L&T Construction, Ericsson, Wipro, Uttar
Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation, Voltas Beko, TCS, Paytm, Oracle, Prisma Advertising, Vectormob, Global
Logic & Intectoplast and institutions like Primeasia University (Bangladesh), SRM Group of Institutions,
College of Business, Sultanate of Oman, and IIT Kanpur. The discussions gave an insight of the best
business practices and learning in today’s world and how business leaders of today need to re-think and
re-shape the workforce dynamics that will balance the aspirations of gen X and millennials in the same
organization. And also about the challenges and issues related to technology convergence, importance
of cyber security, and challenges faced by various organizations due to rapid changing technologies.
The conference was also blessed with the presence of Ms. Kamal Rani Varun, Minister for Technical
Education, UP on day two. The valedictory session of the conference was graced by Ms. Neelima Katiyar
, Minister for Higher Education, UP as the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice
Chancellor, Primeasia University, Bangladesh, Air Marshall (Dr.) RC Bajpai, PVSM, AVSM(Retd.),
Shri Satyadev Pachori, Member of Parliament and Shri Manvendra Singh Chauhan, Senior BJP Leader as
Guests of Honour. The two day International Conference was convened by Dr. Shivani Kapoor, Director -
PSIT College of Higher Education.
