Industry 4.0 Internet of Things– Sensor Kit

Mechatronic Training System

Smart Factory Automation

Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things are influencing how we think of manufacturing in the future. Sensors play an important part in collecting field data and allowing an operator to adjust processes remotely. With the sensor kit, the objectives for the trainers and trainees are to: Understand and discern the functionality, response of various sensors, drives, switches, counters and other measurement devices and also learn about combining and measuring these devices as a whole or as an individual unit.

Built on an aluminium profile plate, this sensor kit trains in the basics of sensor technology, with a focus on digital sensors and analogue sensors prevalent in the current industry. Advanced industry applications and experiments along are presented here through utilization of industrial components. This trainer uses a single sided workstation upon which the components can be easily mounted to build simple chains and conduct experiments.

The kits include User Manual, Student Workbook and Teacher Handbook.

An optional I/O box is available to connect sensor kits with PLC for programming and experimentation

MTAB delivers solutions in the area of Advanced Manufacturing solution, focusing on CNC machining technology, robotics, manufacturing automation and mechatronics. Our solutions include the requisite training material for teachers to deliver training to the students and build skills when it comes to industrial technology.

The following topics will be covered
