A workshop designed for ECR women aimed at strengthening the scientific writing and critical thinking skills of Australia’s next generation of scientists and academics in STEM. This workshop will provide an opportunity for ECRs to build on their scientific writing skills and gain inspiration from mentors and like-minded researchers, forming a valuable component of their academic career development. We have an excellent faculty of mentors including Professor Lan Fu (ANU), Professor Igor Aharonovich (UTS), Professor Lianzhou Wang (UQ), Professor Barbara Fazekas de St Groth (USYD), Professor Jie Lu (UTS), Professor Maria Kavallaris AM (UNSW), Dr Arnold Ju (USYD) and more! We are planning for an ONSITE workshop, with an ONLINE meeting format as backup. The application is open and will be close on 12th October with selected applicants notified by 5pm 17th October.
