Synposis of the talk:

The manufacturing of Transformers is integrated to the global supply chain. With the improvement of technology, the design and manufacturing of transformers can be more aggressive such as reduce clearance and use of pure mineral oil during the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to ensure the passing of tests during FAT. Clean room and environmental conditions can be compromised during the manufacturing process which can have an impact to the life expectancy of transformers. This presentation will walk through the quality assurance of transformers during the manufacturing process.
