Show the ongoing efforts to introduce Socially Assistive Robotics to society.

Describe and demonstrate some of the solutions where robots are assisting people with specific
social issues (i.e., Autism, Pediatric Care, etc.)

Generate discussion around the significance of Socially Assistive Robotics
emphasizing how collaboration between Humans and Robots can be beneficial to all.

Question: does this area of robotics get lost amid the noise and glamour of creating robots for other
uses (i.e., military, space travel and exploration, warehouse and distribution?

Encourage attendees to become involved by contributing to research or solutions to advance the use of
Socially Assistive Robots
