Preparing to move to space long term
Plans are in the works to establish a base on the moon to enable manned exploration further in our solar system. With the current record length for time in space not long enough even to get to mars and back, there is a lot of work to be done. Join us to discuss the research and planning going on to prepare for future exploration. This research includes things you may not think about including fermentation, hibernation and psychology. Join us to explore the to do list for packing up and moving to space.
Our panelists will include:
Chris Carberry is the CEO and co-founder of the non-profit organization Explore Mars, Inc.
Dr. Jay C. Buckey, Jr., is a Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, former NASA Astronaut
