Anita Atwal practices exclusively in the area of Employment Law with HHBG Lawyers in Vancouver, British Columbia. HHBG is a leading employment law firm in British Columbia with offices in Vancouver and Surrey. Prior to joining HHBG Lawyer, Anita worked at a large regional firm. She is an experienced litigator, having appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and before administrative tribunals. She advises on wide array of workplace issues, including contract review, termination, severance packages, restrictive covenants and human rights. She has a keen interest in issues surrounding workplace investigations and disciplinary proceedings.

Anita received her undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University in 2000 and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2005. She was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2006. 

She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Employment Law and Human Rights Subsection and serves on the Executive of the Canadian Bar Association Work Place Investigations Subsection. 

She is a director of British Columbia Infrastructure Benefits, a Crown Corporation responsible for executing British Columbia’s Community Benefits Agreement for large public infrastructure for projects. 

She also serves on the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Foundation Board as a Director. In this role, she is responsible for raising funds for the University.

She has served as president and director of the South Asian Bar Association of British Columbia and remains on the Board of Directors.
