As the industry rapidly evolves, companies large and small are challenged with maintaining and improving competitiveness over the next decade, while participating in evolving vehicle platforms and new production technologies in Industry 4.0, AI, and machine learning, to name a few.

Warren will speak on the APMA’s Project Arrow: Canada’s first, original, full build zero-emission concept vehicle project. This all-Canadian effort will bring together the best of Canada’s design, electric-drive, alternative fuel, connected, autonomous, and light weighting technologies.

Warren Ali Warren Ali of APMA

Biography:

Warren Ali is the Vice President of Innovation for the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA) based in Toronto, Canada. Warren leads the APMA’s Factories-of-the-Future and Vehicles-of-the-Future related initiatives. Warren’s primary responsibility is to manage the APMA’s C/AV Testing and Demonstration Zone in the City of Stratford as part of the Province of Ontario’s Autonomous Vehicle Innovation Network (AVIN). Warren’s economic development experience in both the private sector and at the Federal and Provincial levels of government is a key contribution to the APMA’s efforts to build Canada’s auto sector of the future. Warren holds an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
