IEEE WIE Career Month - Eindhoven Technical University - the Netherlands
The Women in Engineering affinity group, a subgroup of IEEE, will be hosting a career month throughout the month of March, targeted at all TU/e students and employees.
During the career month multiple speakers will present on topics such as tenure-track policies, scholarship/fellowship opportunities, the Irène Curie fellowship, careers in NGO’s, among many others.
Furthermore, there will be a panel session on how to negotiate compensation, with a panel consisting of experienced members from HR, academia and industry.
These topics do not just concern women, so the event will be open to all public (all genders, students, employees, etc..). This event will take place online.
Due to your academic background, I would like to bring to your attention that we have multiple sessions focusing on academia, such as the ones given by Peter van den Besselaar and Monique van der Veen. We will also welcome our Rector Magnificus Frank Baaijens to provide an update on the developments of the Irène-Curie Fellowships.
