It is one of the most popular single-board computers that enables users to design programs using scratch or python. Featuring a microprocessor, it acts much similar to a computer’s motherboard and the computer itself.

Please note that it is recommended to set up Raspberry Pi before the event.
We suggest using the following website or watch this video for detailed instructions.

We will explore 3 basic categories of hardware programming with the Raspberry Pi using python:

  1. Sensors: light sensors, and motion sensors
  2. Outputs: Direct Current (DC) motors, servo motors, Light Emitting Diodes (LED)
  3. Switches: push buttons
