Abstract

We are deeply entrenched in the digital age and every business big or small needs a digital presence and strategy to succeed. Companies are looking for ways to effectively use their existing digital information as they modernize and respond to the scalability requirements for their systems. They find themselves at the crossroads of breaking massive monolithic legacy systems to deliver value to their customers quickly. This talk is to share a few use cases of how to go about breaking the monolith in a pragmatic way while keeping the business continuity.

 

Bio

Hema Ramaswamy has over two decades of experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams on product development for massively parallel and scalable systems that power mission and business critical data management applications.

Hema has taken innovations to market and released numerous value add features to a slew of products and platforms for fortune 100 companies. Most recently she helped a health tech startup foray into a new line of business that helped secure their Series-B. She currently heads engineering at Tracer Labs, a data insights company.

Hema received her M.S. in Computer Science, from the University of Florida and her B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, A.C. College of Engineering and Technology, India.
