MTTW'21 Fiber optical sensor networks
IEEE Day 2021
Annual IEEE Day Celebration. With a theme of “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow”, IEEE Day celebrate the first time in history when engineers worldwide gathered in 1884 to share their technical ideas.
While the world benefits from what’s new, IEEE focuses on what’s next. Activities worldwide demonstrate the multiple ways thousands of IEEE members in local communities in one hundred and sixty countries join together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology into a better tomorrow.

Fiber optical sensor networks
Marek Götten is a PhD student in his final year at the Technical University of Madrid. He obtained his bachelors and masters degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Wismar in 2017 and 2018. He is aiming for a PhD Degree with European Honors with the thesis titled as Massive Quasi-Distributed FBG Sensor Networks Interrogated with a CDM-WDM System. Currently, he is working full time in the project Massive Serial FBG Sensor Networks with CDM Interrogation, funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research. He is author of several conference papers and two research articles in international journals, and co-inventor of the patent Interrogation of Optical Fiber Sensor Network.
