Come Join IEEE IAS Richmond to socialize with other professionals in the area and enjoy a great technical presentation on electrical design for In-Virto Fertilization Facilities! As the organization's final event of 2021, we're excited to end the year with a unique technical seminar!

All IEEE members including students, young professionals, and senior members as well as Non-IEEE members that are interested in learning more about the organization are welcome to attend. The In-Virto Fertilization Industry has grown substantially since the early 1990’s. The concept has grown from an infant technology to a service that’s included in corporate benefits packages. Since the systems in these facilities are still relatively new for most designers, this presentation will discuss backup power needs for IVF operations and how resilient they really need to be. This talk will consider how important equipment, such as HVAC, and IVF operations are handled on backup power systems during a power outage.

For a $10.00 fee for IEEE members and $20.00 fee for non-IEEE members, attendees can enjoy the technical presentation and refreshments. An assortment of Mexican appetizers and dishes will be provided along with a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
