IEEE International Conference on Integrated Circuits, Technologies and Applications (ICTA) 2021
From Nov. 24 2021 to Nov. 26 2021, the 4th IEEE International Conference on Integrated Circuit Technology and Applications (ICTA 2021, Conference No. 53157) was successfully held online (originally planed in Zhuhai). The conference was co-sponsored by Beijing Electronics Society, IEEE Nanjing Section AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter, organized by IEEE SSCS Guangzhou Chapter and Sun Yat-sen University, and supported by Beijing Association for Science and Technology. Nearly 200 experts, scholars and researchers from China, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, the Netherlands, Brazil, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Macao and other countries and regions attended the conference. The theme of this year's conference is "Sensors, Integrated Circuits and Systems for an Intelligent Society". The conference aims to exchange the latest technological achievements in the field of INTEGRATED circuit design, technology and applications, as well as interdisciplinary convergence in today's society. There were 2 plenary presentations, 6 turtorials, 6 keynotes, and 25 sub-session presentations.
Professor Zhihua Wang of Tsinghua University, chairman of the conference, gave a warm welcome speech at the opening ceremony. Professor Wang reviewed the history of THE ICTA conference. It has been three years since the first ICTA conference was held in Beijing in 2018. More and more students, researchers, professors and engineers have conducted academic and technical exchanges at ICTA to show their research achievements, and ICTA has become an important international academic event for IC. Professor Wang expressed his sincere thanks to all the participants, volunteers and organizers. Special thanks to the members of the Technical Procedures Committee for their positive contributions to ensuring the quality of the conference, their careful discussion and review of papers, and their responsibility for each accepted paper. 2021 is a special year. Although we cannot hold the conference in zhuhai due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe that we can also gain from the conference online.
Steering committee chairman, professor Lin Fujiang chaired the plenary talk. Prof. Lin said that ICTA is an international conference for Chinese researchers, engineers and students to provide the field of integrated circuit design and application of advanced communication platform, ICTA is also a window for foreign experts to the development of China's semiconductor industry. Zhao Dixian, professor of Southeast University, co-chair of the Technical Procedure Committee, introduced the review and acceptance of papers in ICTA 2021. Prof. Zhiyi Yu of Sun Yat-sen University, co-chair of the Technical Procedure Committee, introduced ICTA 2022.
The meeting includes many areas such as: 1) radio frequency integrated circuits and millimeter wave integrated circuits, 2) analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, 3) digital integrated circuits and memory, 4) cable, 5) modeling, CAD and test of integrated circuits, 6) devices and technology, 7) sensor and its application, 8) applications of the integrated circuit, 9) emerging technologies and applications, 10) intelligent robot.
Prof. Giovanni De Micheli, an expert in The field of electronics and computer science, is invited to present a plenary talk entitled "The Emerging Technology Challenge: How will Design be Supported?"; Li Shaobin from Gree Zhuhai was invited to deliver a talk entitled "Development Direction of Smart Chip for Home Appliances".
On the first day of ICTA 2021, the turtorial course was organized by Zhao Bo from Zhejiang University, inviting top experts in the field of cutting-edge technology such as processor chip design, high energy efficiency computing chip, clock generation chip, power amplifier chip and sensor chip. Prof. Chen yong from the university of macau, Professor Guoxing Wang from Shanghai jiaotong university, Prof. Zhiyi Yu from Sun yat-sen university, Professor Luo Yuxuan from Zhejiang university, Professor Xun Luo from university of electronic science and technology gave the turtorials including: "lower reference stray sampling/sampling phase monitoring technology", "event-driven computing - a new kind of extremely low integrated electric power consumption", "Microprocessor Design: Circuit, Architecture and Future Development Direction", "Design of Capacitor Sensor Interface Circuit", "Clock generation and Distribution Technology applying to wireless and Wireline", "Mixed-signal Power Amplifier, Phased array Multi-standard Wireless Transmitter". These turtorials were actively participated and highly recognized by the participants.
The conference papers covered hot topics in the current research field and were presented in 25 sub-sessions. The present scholars at home and abroad made special speeches on the content of the paper, combined with their own research fields and work, and carried out heated discussions with the experts attending the meeting.
The high quality of ICTA conference is due to the efforts and support of the members of the Technical Procedures Committee. The conference not only for the domestic and foreign experts and scholars and researchers in the field of integrated circuit and so on offer a rich academic feast, also contributed to the experts, scholars of mutual understanding, strengthen the exchange and cooperation in the field of academic, but also promoted the international integrated circuit in the domestic application of new technology, integrated circuit domain scientific research personnel exchanges and study of the interactive platform. Over 301,000 people watched the conference live online.
