Cognitive Electronic Warfare
ABSTRACT
This presentation will highlight how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to solve critical problems in electronic warfare (EW). I will describe how cognitive radio differs from cognitive EW, and present the key reasons why AI is a necessary component of future EW systems. I will touch on AI techniques for situation assessment and for decision making. I will describe how to handle real-time in-mission learning and present ideas on how to evaluate a system that learns during a mission.
The presentation is based on the book "Cognitive Electronic Warfare: AnArtificial Intelligence Approach."
