“MENTOR MENTEE MEETING” under Orientation cum Vision Building Program of IIC (Under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India)
A virtual meeting for mentee institute was conducted for the faculties and students of Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be Universsity), Haridwar on March 25, 2022 from 3:30-5pm. The convener of the mentor institute was Dr. Aruna Bhat while the convener of mentee institute was Dr. Kapil Pandey and Dr. Satyendra Kmar Rajput as President IIC GK (DU). The eminent speaker Dr. (Prof.) Deepali Bhatnagar (Deputy Director-Amity Business School, Amity University, Jaipur) spoke on the topic “Creating Successful Business Model through Strategic Positioning and Value Proposition Development”. Dr. Aruna Bhat welcomed all the faculties and students of IIC- Gurukla Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar alongwith the internal members of II RIT Roorkee. Prof. Roop Kishore Shashtri, Honourable Vice Chancellor GK (DU) inaugurated the session and inspired everyone to carry on such activities in the future too. After going through the profile of Dr. Deepali, the program started with a basic understanding of Positioning and Value Proposition. Dr. Bhatnagar explained the ecosystem for creating an environment to help students to come up with novel ideas and to position their products in the right way. The students and the faculties took a very interest in understanding the concept by asking many queries concept. Dr. Bhatnagar interacted with the students regarding the problems they may encounter while positioning their product/ idea in the market. She also laid stress on the need and importance of value proposition for a product in terms of enhancing the customer base. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Kapil Pandey. More than 100 participants were present in this program. The program ended at 5pm.

Prof. (Dr.) Deepali Bhatnagar, Deputy Director,Amity Business School, Amity University Rajasthan.

Qualification:She is a graduate in BSc. (Mathematics), MCom. and holds MBA and PhD. Degree in Management. She is UGC- NET qualified in Management.

Research:Her research interests include consumer behavior, Advertising and Entrepreneurship. She has over 17 years of teaching research and training experience. She has guided few Ph.D scholars. She has publication in reputedScopus listed Journals, to her credit.
She has participated and presented papers in several national and international conferences in few of the premier Institutions of India to name a few IIM-A, IIM- Indore, FMS etc. She is member of Board of Studies in few universities. She holds significant Editorial Positions in reputed Journals.
She has developed the course material for distance learning courses of Uttrakhand Open University and also for a program on Rural Management by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE) Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.

She is a trainer and Academic Administrator with over 17 years of experience and established aptitude in academic deliverance and so training.She has conducted EDPs and MDP’s with various Government Bodies.She contributed as a trainer in DGR programme for senior army officials at Amity University Rajasthan.She is life member of Indian Society of Training and Development.
