EXPLORING IEEE COMMON EVENT
IEEE SB has successfully conducted an online event on 11/01/2022(Tuesday). Nearly 250 participants have participated in this event. The welcome address was given by Roshanraj N, Editorial Lead. Following the welcome address was the introduction to IEEE given by Mr. Monish K, Chairman of IEEE Student Branch at Sri Sairam Institute of Technology. An introduction video about the benefits of IEEE was presented to the participants to provide them with guidance to use the platform effectively. The website page of Sri Sairam Institute of Technology was launched. The social media pages that were created for the institution’s IEEE societies were presented. Step-by-step instructions were given to create an @ieee.org e-mail id for individual IEEE members. The web-hosting permissions were explained and participants were instructed on how to operate vtools. The design of the website was discussed and new SB volunteers were called. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by Mr. Roshanraj N.
