LMAG IEEE meeting at the Tulsa Historical Society September 21 2022
The IEEE Tulsa Life Member Afinity Group (LMAG) invites the Life Members and guests to a meeting at the Tulsa Historical Society. We will gather at 2 pm Wednesday September at the Tulsa historical Society, a stately mansion at 2445 S Peoria Ave., just south of 21st, Woodward Park, and the Tulsa Garden Center. We will start with a guided walk-through of the exhibits before a sit-down meeting with a curator to discuss how we might interact with the THS to preserve the electrical engineering history of our community. They close at 4 pm.
LMAG reimbursement will cover entry fees so don’t pay an entry fees – tell the greeter you are with the IEEE LMAG group. Bring your THS membership card if a member.
The Tulsa Historical Society is at 2445 S Peoria Ave, the southern-most of a pair of mansions immediately south of 21st Street, Woodward Park, and the Tulsa Garden Center on the east side of Peoria Ave. Parking is at the back and is accessible from Woodward Park Drive (preferred) or from Peoria Ave (coblestone paving). If arriving via Woodward Park you need to make a right turn after passing the gardens onto a one lane entrance into the Garden Center mansion’s parking lot to get to the THS parking lot.
You also are welcome to join the ExCom at their lunch meeting at another location preceeding this meeting as described in a separte meeting notice.
