JILS - Investigating the partial discharge testing of 3 ø transformers
This event has been rescheduled till Wednesday 22 February 2023.
Learn how to measure partial discharge in poxy cast three-phase transformers up to a voltage rating of 36kV ø – ø voltage.
The testing of 3PH epoxy cast power transformer for partial discharge is more a “skilled art” than an absolute science. It takes much detailed experience to understand the complete subject of partial discharge testing. The understanding of the circuit, the power supply, the filtering plus the earthing are fundamental concepts to understand before you can attempt to study and understand the measuring circuitry and the equipment testing process.
