Common Misconceptions in Radio Authorizations: Removing Obstacles By Understanding Requirements

This presentation aims to provide visibility to some very important updates to radio certification requirements for the US and Canada, as well as discuss the most common misconceptions we mitigate while helping manufacturers navigate the waters of radio regulation. With a better understanding, manufacturers can avoid common errors and misinterpretations that delay project timelines when performing radio certifications or integrating “Pre-certified” modules into their products. Manufacturers who manage radio authorizations should also be aware of several updates that have either been implemented or are on the horizon.
