As Chair of IEEE Region 8 Women in Engineering Subcommittee and IEEE Switzerland WIE Affinity Group, Dr. Maria-Alexandra Paun was invited to deliver a 2 hours and a half presentation (highest time duration) during the live 12h global WIE non-stop marathon, which was prepared for the 25th anniversay of Women in Engineering. The event was held on international women's day. She talked about Women in Engineering at Region 8 level, with a highlight on Switzerland activities as well. This event was watched from all over the world. Her presentation was warmly received.
