OKC Section Engineering Fair - Motor Contest Reminder for Volunteers

In 2022 11 teams registered, 8 teams participated with 1-3 people per team with parents and teachers present.

Nearly 650 students from 29 different school districts are registered for the 42^nd Annual Oklahoma Engineering Fair (2023).

Volunteer and IEEE guest Registration is still open.

This years Engineering Fair, is sponsored by the IEEE OKC Section Life Members and other local Societies via Oklahoma Engineering Foundation, will be held at the Science Museum Oklahoma on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The Fair opens at 8:30 AM and ends at 2:00 PM. Parents and University Students that want to attend our Electrical Motor Contest Competition or any of the competitions are welcome. The Electric Motor Competition is to be held on the 2nd floor.

If your business would like to financially support our the Electric Motor competition let us know and and we will post your Logo with our advertisements on the IEEE OKC Section website and at the Electric Motor competition site.

IEEE Motor Contest volunteers by registering will let Daniel Morehead <moreheaddb@cox.net> know they will attend to support our competition so we can schedule 2 hours of support per person.

Prizes and Distribution

The Oklahoma Engineering Fair is open to middle school and high school students attending, public, private, parochial or home schools in Oklahoma.

Contest winners will be announced at the Engineering Fair and the Engineering-Fair web page.

Volunteers can support the competions in any of the following contests but this solitation is just for the Electric Motor Contest. Again we encourage parents and IEEE members to come and view these competitions.
