Biography:
Kendall R. Waters is Director of Ultrasound R&D at United Imaging. He has been part of the medical device industry for over 15 years with much of his career focused on advanced technology development for medical ultrasound imaging devices and applications.
Kendall has product and technology development experience at a range of organizations, including global enterprises, small-medium businesses, start-ups, and national laboratories. He has been an R&D contributor on >10 medical products cleared by the FDA. He is also an inventor on >20 patent families related to medical imaging and sensing.
Kendall is an active member of the IEEE having held elected positions for both the Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society and Consultants’ Network of Silicon Valley. He holds a PhD and MA in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Physics and BA in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.
