The IEEE London Power and Energy Society Chapter and the Life Member Affinity Group welcome you to tour the StormFisher Bio Gas plant located in London, Ontario.  Note that space is limited, and that attendees must provide their own steel-toed boots to go on the tour.

StormFisher Limited operates a 2.85 MW biogas facility in London, Ontario that converts up to 100,000 tonnes of organic waste each year into renewable energy and organic-based fertilizer. We provide disposal services to Ontario's food processors, food retailers, waste haulers, and any business where food is either prepared or consumed. In addition, StormFisher has been involved in the development of numerous other facilities in the U.S. and Canada.

StormFisher develops, owns, and operates renewable energy facilities helping corporations, utilities, and governments achieve net zero emissions through these fuels.

Our developments support resiliency and a net zero economy across sectors by meeting the right intersection of needs within our supply chain. We are an outlet for renewable power, create commercial value with local partners by maximizing the value of existing by-products, and produce Green Hydrogen, Renewable Natural Gas, and eMethanol for end-markets that are traditionally hard to decarbonize.

StormFisher develops and operates facilities that recycle and repurpose organic waste, energy and water in an environmentally and economically sustainable manner. Using their operational expertise, they focus on waste-to-value and power-to-gas projects. Partnering with a variety of institutions, such as municipalities, investors, and technology providers, StormFisher manages and operates projects after development, which provides the incentive to build quality facilities that perform as promised. Currently operating the largest private organic waste-to-energy biogas facility in North America, along with six other facilities, StormFisher seeks to lead society into a low carbon future one facility at a time. As both the developer and the operator, they are committed to bringing commercial and technical rigor to their projects, which aim to deliver long term value to people and planet.

Notable Achievements

Currently operating the largest private organic waste-to-energy biogas facility in North America, along a few other facilities.

Over $350m raised in financing, including Generate Capital to support the development and operations of renewable gas infrastructure
