IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society is pleased to announce this webinar on SOFTWARE DEFINED MODEMS FOR UNDERWATER SENSORS, MARINE ROBOTICS AND OTHER APPLICATIONS by Mr. Manu Ignatius on Monday 27th January 2023 at 15:00  (UK time). For more details, please find the attached flyer.

Abstract:

Software Defined Open Architecture Modems (SDOAMs) offer features such as flexibility, extensibility, in-field configurability to ensure the end user gets the best performance during an operation with the right user experience. In this talk, I share our experiences and learnings from deployments of our software defined modems for applications such as underwater sensors, marine robotics, underwater wireless networks in some of the most challenging waters of Singapore (tropical, shallow and warm).
