Biography:
Sandu Abeywickrama is a distinguished computer scientist and solution architect renowned for his expertise in leveraging mathematics, data science, and software technologies to tackle real-world business challenges. With a background spanning Photonics & Opto-electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Business Consultancy, he has been involved in the tech industry since 2010. In 2016, Sandu was awarded a PhD in Engineering from the University of Melbourne for his groundbreaking research focused on creating sustainable and reliable infrastructure for the next-generation Internet.
Currently serving as the CTO of Atisfy, an award-winning marketing-technology company specializing in influencer marketing solutions, Sandu continues to drive technological innovation. He is member of esteemed organizations like The Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL), The Australian Computer Society (ACS), and of the Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA) in the UK.
Sandu's passion lies in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to pioneer revolutionary online experiences that contribute to the betterment of humanity. Simultaneously, he remains acutely aware of the paramount significance of security in the digital realm.
