A visit to "International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials" Balapur P.O., Hyderabad - Second Day Visit
An industrial Visit was conducted on the 6th of October,2023 for all the IEEE members to the "International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials” Balapur, Hyderabad. The main motive for organizing this industrial visit was to inform students of how Disciplinary Equipment runs in industries, their maintenance, and troubleshooting so they can have exposure to the Industry. The students were divided into batches so that the officials could effectively explain what work they do in the industry. At first, they showed us the lab where they make salts and sol-gel machinery. They acknowledged us with different types of coating methods like dip coating, electroplating, etc. After this, they took us to show different types of furnaces and their workings for different types of metals and objects. after the furnaces, they showed us honeycomb ceramics which they specially make in various forms for their customers in India and out of India, and told us about its working and advantages too. they also gave us a glance at sol-gel machinery.
