 The POSH Act is a legislation enacted by the Government of India in 2013 to address the issue of sexual harassment faced by men & women. The Act aims to create a safe and conducive environment for protection against sexual harassment. The POSH act is of prevention, prohibition & redressal, which aims to educate the youth especially about their legal rights.

The IEEE WIE Society and WoWWW Cell has planned to conduct a workshop on PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) for students, by Mr. PP. Shreyaas, Founder & Managing Trustee, PoSH Consultant, Project Bodhan on 11/12/2023 @ F3101, Sri Sairam Engineering College. from 10am to 12pm

Biography:

PP Shreyaas is a development sector professional, Certified POSH, POCSO & Ventilation
trainer and advocates for the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
He holds a Degree in the Bachelor of Business Administration in specialisation with Liberal
Arts and Stem Foundation from VIT University, Andhra Pradesh and a Postgraduate
Diploma Degree in Anant Fellowship on Built Environment from Anant National University,
Ahmedabad.
Shreyaas holds a professional experience in various NGOs and communities both nationally
and internationally, and his work is focused towards achieving holistic innovation in the field
of education and sustainability. Presenty, he is the State Associate for South India at IASC
Sector Skill Council, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Skill Development &
Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
He has worked with the United Nations Development Programme, India for a Government of
India Biodiversity Program and as a Program Manager for a public policy think tank.
He is an Advisory Committee Member at the International Women Technology & Research
Forum (IWTRF) dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists in career and
professional development.
As the Founder & Managing Trustee of his Not - for - Profit, Bodhan Foundation, the portfolio
was recognised back in 2020, by the Former Vice President of India, Shri. Venkaiah Naidu.
A Guest speaker who has delivered many talks to a variety of audiences on various
platforms.
An Indian Achievers Awardee for the category of Social Service Felicitated by Indian
Achievers Forum, New Delhi in the year 2020. He was featured at the, I5 Summit 30 under
30, Central India’s largest summit on entrepreneurship by IIT & IIM Indore, one of the
prestigious institutions of India.
