By fostering a supportive atmosphere for them in their families and communities and giving them the freedom to make decisions based on their interests, this initiative seeks to inspire young girls from rural India to pursue careers in engineering. Hitachi Energy will continue to provide four years of academic support to female students under this program, including mentoring and training in soft and technical skills. Additionally, Sikshana Foundation oversaw the coordination of this Women in Engineering initiative.
