Bugbash was an online Debugging Competition conducted by IEEE SB RIT, IEEE SB CEK and IEEE SB Mangalam in collaboration with IEEE Computer Society Kerala Chapter as part of Informatyka 3.0. The event was held on 24 September 2023 from 8:00 to 9:00 PM in online mode. The competition provided an exciting platform for participants to test and improve their debugging skills in a virtual environment. It was arranged in a platform called Hackerrank for easier user experience and consisted of the most essential debugging questions carefully curated for the competition.

The competition featured a series of programming challenges, each containing different types of bugs, from basic syntax errors to intricate logic issues. Participants received source code to debug. The competition had multiple rounds where the challenges grew progressively more complex,
and this offered a gradual learning curve for participants.

The event served as a valuable learning opportunity for the participants, providing them insights into real-world debugging scenarios and strategies. Also being a team event, Bugbash promoted collaboration and knowledge sharing among the participants further enhancing their experience.
The competition was received well by the students. A large part of the participants completed the tasks successfully of which the faster ones were awarded the prize. The event was a success, offering participants a valuable platform to enhance their debugging skills, collaborate and learn.
