EXPLORING ROLES AND DUTIES OF NEW OFFICE BEARERS
CS Society is embarking on a comprehensive campaign to enhance membership within and across other departments. Our primary objectives are to bolster current member engagement and attract new participants. To achieve this, we're crafting a compelling video showcasing society's achievements, funding endeavors, and other notable highlights. Additionally, we're actively integrating CS Society members into the official community group, which currently comprises around 205 students. Following cultural events, we'll be conducting an induction for office bearers, where we'll delve into anticipated changes in the computing field and their implications for IEEE CS. We'll strategize ways to adapt roles and responsibilities to meet evolving needs, setting clear goals and objectives for IEEE CS roles while assigning tasks to relevant individuals or committees. In parallel, we're driving volunteer recruitment efforts, encouraging participation in events like Xtreme and SIGHT, and motivating CS members to apply for volunteering opportunities within IEEE projects, coding competitions, and other events. Furthermore, we're keen on meeting project deadlines, promoting opportunities such as the IEEE Student Grant, open to 3rd and 4th-year students with a $500 reward, and considering potential events like SPAx in April. Finally, we're committed to transparent reporting, prioritizing the uploading of all activities to Vtools, with a focus on online events over offline engagements.
