Power Equipment Fundamentals - Theory and Demonstration

This meeting will focus on the technical and practical side of power equipment. During the social period (thirty minutes) the floor with be open for peruse the equipment, and to ask any questions with presenters as present. Following this period we will gather for a dinner in the room reserved for us, during which the various Specialists will offer an overview of the equipment fundamental later demonstrated. The equipment available is listed below.

Power Transformer
DA Viper
High Voltage Circuit Breaker
Control Equipment (Relays and SCADA)

In culmination we will all gather around one of NIPSCO”s Mobile Substation, demonstrating how everything working to fulfill its function provides reliable and safe power delivery to our customers
